Expert Clinical Psychologist Selin Öztürk graduated from Doğuş University, Department of Psychology in English with a scholarship, second in the department and with a high honors degree in 2018. Then, she graduated from Medipol University, Clinical Psychology program with her thesis on “The effect of anxiety, rumination, self-criticism and self-awareness on sleep quality”. She is also a graduate of Anadolu University, Department of Social Services. She is continuing her doctoral studies.


She completed her internship at Beykoz State Hospital, Medipol University Psychological Counseling Unit, a private neuropsychiatry clinic and psychological counseling center. She has volunteer experience at the Hope Foundation for Children with Cancer. She conducted group work with adolescents living in homes of love within the scope of the Why Not? Project. She worked as a Clinical Psychologist in a private educational institution and supported students in preparing for exams by following their psychological processes.


Currently, she coordinates the Psychological Counseling Unit at İstinye University, where she started in 2022, and provides psychotherapy support and organizes awareness seminars for university students and staff.
At the same time, she actively continues individual psychotherapy sessions with adults at BATE Psychology.


In therapy, EMDR Level 2, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (3rd Wave Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and Psychodynamic theories are utilized, and an eclectic approach is adopted where the client makes decisions according to the reason for application and needs.
Her areas of work are mostly trauma, depression, anxiety, panic attacks, eating disorders, phobias, anxiety disorders, anger problems, relationship problems, attachment problems, loss and mourning, feelings of inadequacy and worthlessness, and psychosomatic disorders.
